Project: Minai MVP Product
Role: Visuals, Interactions, Research
Duration: Summer 2021 (March-May)
We are creating a website for a startup company called Minai and that will represent as MVP product. Minai is an influencer marketing platform that use AI algorithm to match retailers' campaign with influencers.
Following a goal-directed design process for this project, we rounded out some key questions that would later help drive out the process further. This was the first step when listing put our initial assumption about our users and the product.
For the retailer as a user, how can we create a focus spot on "Set up Campaign" button?
For influencer as a user, how can we make them signup for our platform?
Are all information on the landing page, retailer page, influencer page, about page, and contact page inform all necessary info?
Which common features will be necessary for the MVP?

Porpor is a macro-influencers based in Bkk, Thailand. Most of her work is related to fashion and food industry. Lately, she has struggled with her influencer work. She found out that she cannot find a way to show her post performance, also, the long process to meet up with clients seems to consume her time way too much.
Joshua is a marketing officer in a large-scale company based in Bkk, Thailand. With his 10 years of experience, he found out that there are way too many influencers in the market, a choice paradox. Moreover, the performance evaluation method will make him overloaded.
We looked at several potential companies, and there are some product that already in the market. They can infringe on the business' revenue & popularity. Minai has an opportunity to capitalize on this by bringing products from each company to create an end-to-end service solution for influencer market.
The majority of the features between competitors were very similar, however the main differeces that we noticed were:
Not end-to-end service, no digital marketing services after matching retailers with influencers.
Our AI algorithm is solid. Mostly Minai team consist of tech people with experiences.
Bright / Distracting interface vs Minimalistic interface
Specialization of products.
Preparing the Journey
We constructed a user flow of what a basic start to finish journey looks like while skimming around the website and the process of campaign diagram through registration. This helps us understand ways users can interact with MVP
After confirming our scenario, we started to put together some of the foundation frameworks for the Artist’s Bio. Working through the low-fidelity wireframes also helped us edge out some of the initial features that weren’t pivotal to the user’s experience in the end, such as user profile
After creating our prototype and wireframe, our team prepared a set of questions survey for participants to fill out before we began conducting a usability test. We asked our participants to run through different scenarios in our prototype in hopes of generating enough feedback to use for our next set of design iteration.
During the campaign diagram process, users were having a problem with the campaign diagram due to the lengthy process and unable to skip.
Unnecessary information on the landing page. Most of our participants believed that provides trusted retailers will make more difference.
After the usability study session, some adjustments have been made according to the feedback and create a proper wireframe in every significant touchpoint
